Housekeeper

For one of our families in Luxembourg, Victoria Cerise is looking for a full time live-out self-employed housekeeper to help take care of their home in Merl, Luxembourg.

Dog friendly, as taking care of a very large well behaved dog is part of your duties.

English Speaker: The household being multi-lingual, English will be the main language used, any additional language like French or German will be considered as a big plus

**Job Specification**:
Housekeeping duties including but not limited to:

- Ensuring the home is kept organized, clean and tidy
- Dusting and polishing of furniture and fixtures
- Cleaning and sanitizing toilets, showers/bathtubs, countertops and sinks
- Cleaning metal fixtures and fittings
- Maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen area
- Making beds and changing linens
- Sweeping and vacuuming, polishing and mopping floors
- cleaning mirrors and other glass surfaces
- Emptying trash receptacles and disposing of waste
- Tidying up rooms
- keeping bathrooms stocked with clean linens, toiletries and other supplies
- Monitoring cleaning supplies and ordering more as needed
- Reporting any necessary repairs or replacements

Laundry duties including but not limited to:

- Sorting, washing, loading and unloading laundry
- Ironing clothing items
- Managing the wardrobes; tidying clothes back in wardrobes
- Sending fragile items to dry-cleaners

Cooking duties including:

- Cooking for the family and staff when they are present (breakfast, lunch, dinner). Light healthy food preferred.
- Grocery shopping, food delivery management and purchasing groceries and household supplies to maintain adequate levels
- Maintaining records or related expenditure

Dog related duties:

- Walking the dog
- Feeding and caring for the dog

Third-party management duties including:

- Dealing with tradesmen that may come to the house and overseeing their work
- Opening the door and welcome people and/or deliveries as needed
- Running errands if needed

**Shift: Monday to Friday from 8am to 5 pm**
