**What you’ll do**:
As a Category Specialist Corporate Services (Legal and Financial Services) with Vodafone Procurement Company, you will implement the strategy for the global procurement of the Legal Services and Financial Services categories. An exciting and fast-changing area for One SCM and the VPC. You will be responsible for driving execution against a number of projects within the global Category Team, where annual expenditure exceeds €180m per annum on a global basis. The focus will be on driving significant cost savings and increased measurable value for Vodafone from appropriate supply chain improvement initiatives. You will be joining a dynamic, collaborative, and high-performing team and will be given the opportunity to deal with a variety of projects. You will:

- Support category manager in sourcing projects for the Legal and Financial Services categories.
- Support sourcing activities, launching RFPs, and driving significant cost savings.
- Perform commercial analysis of supplier proposals and be able to present summaries and recommendations to stakeholders across the business and local markets.
- Conduct commercial negotiations aligning with the requirements of the business.
- Review contractual documents and amendments to Vodafone standard terms, aligning with business stakeholders and policy owners to gather necessary approvals or negotiate further with suppliers.
- Monitor in-life contracts, extending duration or amending terms as necessary to ensure no disruption to business.
- Pro-actively engage with the stakeholders all around the Vodafone entities.
- Cooperate with the SCM in the local operating companies for the update of spend, savings, as well as reporting.
- Develop commercial models for supplier fees, create insight into the supplier landscape, and drive optimizations.
- Implement plans and KPIs based on an accurate assessment of the operational environment, available resources, and identified project dependencies.
- Work in a flexible way, supporting cross-category and cross-company projects.

- ** Stakeholder Management**: The ability to consult with local markets and provide specialist advice on how to improve their business model.
- ** Analytical Skills**: Strong reasoning skills, with the ability to draw insights from a large volume of diverse data.
- ** Attention to Details**: Excellent attention to detail and ability to review and understand legal documents.
- ** Communication Skills**: Effective communication skills with colleagues and stakeholders
- ** Language**: Proven English language skills - written and spoken. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus (i.e. German, Italian, Spanish).
- ** Education**: A University degree. Master degree preferred
