**The Opportunity**
The Applied Physical Metrology Luxemburg (APML) lab team is currently revising job risk assessments (JRA) of all processes and operations. This comprehensive assessment is the opportunity for a student to learn and practice within a team the mitigation of safety risks occurring in an R&D lab environment. She/he will support our EHS engineer in the assessment, and she/he will document those revisions into our risk management system.
The intern will also have the opportunity to practice her/his skills in ergonomics by supporting the Ergo team in the planning and execution of ergonomic assessments. If feasible, she/he will participate in the ideation and execution of ergonomic risk mitigation strategies. The student will help to document the respective results in our ergonomics management system.
The student will also shadow our EHS engineer during some of his daily duties and thereby get a deeper insight into our EHS processes and organization.
**Responsibilities**:
- Conduct/revise job risk assessments
- Plan and conduct ergonomic assessments
- Document results in respective management systems
**To join our team, you will need**:
**Education**:
You should be enrolled in a degree in EHS.
**Languages**:
Fluency in English is a must.
**You must be available for 3-6 months & be enrolled in university.**
