Are you interested in joining the accounting team of our client, an international commercial group?
Our client facing significant growth, is looking to recruit for their Luxembourg offices an:
**Accountant - English/French (M/F) - work permit required**
You are responsible for accounting and administrative activities, covering among others the following tasks:
**Major responsibilities**:
- Take "ownership" of your part of the General Accounting (GL, AP & AR) of the several companies;
- Follow-up of the « day-to-day » accounting activities;
- Develop accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls in accordance with the Head of Accounting’s guidelines
- Support the Accountant Manager with month end and year end close process;
- Be a driver for tax and VAT returns both locally and internationally;
- Liaise with the companies of the group related to intercompany reconciliations
- Preparation and analysis of weekly « cash-flow » and other reports as required;
- Follow-up on the customers and the suppliers account balances;
- Develop accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
**Profile requirements**:
- Post secondary academic degree in accounting;
- At least 3**+ year’s professional experience in accounting;**:
- **Fluency in English and French;**:
- Ability to work autonomously as well as an **excellent team player;**:
- Accuracy and attention to detail;
- **A very good knowledge of SAP**;
- Proficiency in Excel (macros,complex Pivot, )
- Ability to set priorities.
