TASK RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Gather security incident reports, analyze data and evidences.
- Investigate cases and present conclusions to reduce further exposure to unlawful interferences.
- Conduct quality controls (audit, inspection, test), based on the annual Quality Control plan and risk assessment
- Identify and address breaches in the security system operations.
- Serve as point of contact for other departments in case of suspicion of security breach, cargo tampering, theft; investigate and coordinate with all internal parties concerned by the incident.
- Suggest improvements in deployment of security policies and procedures.
- Propose solutions to our international stations in case of difficulties in implementation of security requirements.
- Maintained to the highest-level of knowledge to ensure compliance with latest standards, regulations and recommended practices.
- Evaluate and improve required security to achieve standards in all locations of Cargolux (through pre-operations station visits or review of blueprints).

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:

- Bachelor Degree in a related field (e.g., audit).
- At least 7 years of experience in a similar position; first experience in working with aviation authorities is considered an advantage.
- Good understanding of EU laws, rules, and regulations, international conventions and/or International Aviation Laws.
- Knowledge & operational background in Aviation, Air Cargo and/or Military, Police, Security will be considered an advantage.
- Experience in forensic and investigations.
- Audit certification will be appreciated.
- Fluent written and oral communication skills in English; any other language will be an asset.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and change within a fast-paced environment.
- Organized, structured attitude and a results-oriented approach.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).

WORKING CONDITIONS:

- Full-time permanent position based in Luxembourg.
- A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection.
- Flexible with working hours.
- Frequent travel required within the entire Cargolux network (sometimes on short notice).
