Specialist Information Security

TASK RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Policy Development and Management:
- Develop, review, and update information security policies and procedures to align with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the development of incident response plan and playbooks
2. Risk Assessment and Management:
- Support the risk assessment activity by identifying new vulnerabilities and threats to the organization's information assets.
- Support the implementation of risk mitigation strategies and action plans.
- Report identified gaps and delays in time.
3. Third-Party/Supply chain Risk Management:
- Assess and manage security risks associated with third-party vendors and service providers.
- Ensure that vendors meet the organization's security standards and compliance requirements.
4. Compliance Management:
- Ensure all performed activities and generated deliverables are compliant with Cargolux established standards as well as data protection laws, industry regulations (Part-IS, NISS2,...), and contractual requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with changing regulations and ensure the organization's adherence.
5. Security Audits and Assessments:
- Support internal and external auditors to address findings and remediate deficiencies.
6. Security Awareness and Training:
- Support the development of security awareness programs to educate employees about security policies and best practices.
- Develop security awareness materials in line with the defined program.
- Support the delivery of security-related trainings to employees.
7. Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for improving security processes and implement best practices to enhance the overall security posture of the organization.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and with stakeholders across the organization.
- Good knowledge of information security principles, standards, and best practices.
- Experience with information security standards such as ISO 27k or NIST 800 series is a plus.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are a plus.
- Familiarity with GRC tools and software is a plus.
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks in a plus.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Permanent contract.
- Full-time position based in our HQ in Luxembourg.
- Occasional travel may be required.
- Standard office hours are to be expected (Monday - Friday). Extended hours occasionnally required for specific support, operations or maintenance.
- A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of a positive selection.
