The opportunity

We are looking to hire an Intermediation Accounting Management Officer who will be in charge of organizing the project work, contributing to the incident management and defining the relating priorities for the Client Funds Handling Accounting on the strategic target processing platforms. As such you are dealing with diverse payment flows for a multitude of entities. Other team members are located in multiple countries.
You will be a member of the “Intermediation Accounting” team that as a whole focuses on the finance aspects of Client Funds Handling on strategic target platforms as well as on local platforms: accounting of these flows, executing of adequate controls, homogenization of processes and methodologies and implementation of strategic tooling. It also challenges, when relevant, business decisions based on the overall understanding of and empowerment on the end-to-end process. It possess at the end of the day, a sound understanding of the top line and anticipate trends impacts on financial KPIs and cash-flows.
In this role, you’ll report to the Group Intermediation Accounting Manager. There is also a strong connection required with the technical project teams, in particular in the area of accounting and reconciliation, and the operational reconciliation teams.

**About the team**

We are committed to an accurate and controlled financial translation in the accounting records of the Third Party Funds Handling. We are only satisfied when system set-ups, processes, procedures and actions are in place and enable projects go-live and guarantee the financial flows watertightness commonly realized via reconciliation of data. We are always looking for new and innovative ways to improve our processes, build excellent tools supporting these processes, and enable the control environment to continuously grow.

The project team to which you as an Intermediation Accounting Management Officer is composed by 3 people working on project and support to an operational team of 10 people dedicated to our daily reconciliation operations, responsible to guarantee the watertightness of the payment flows through set-up of efficient accounting and excellent reconciliations.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include
- Keep a transversal view over the entire scope and roadmap of the Intermediation Accounting of Client Funds processed on strategic target platforms
- Ensure communication between the project team, the operational team and the different stakeholders
- Contribute to risk and issue management
- Support in the project governance
- Preparing documentation/reporting towards senior management
- Monitor issues and prepare decision taking
- Assist and follow up requests from the Group and/or from the regulators
- Organize relevant workgroups
- Monitor coherence of answers

- You create and contribute to a structured environment for the Projects and Operational Intermediation Accounting teams by development & industrialization of Data Visualization dashboards
- You contribute in a partnership mindset with Finance and Business teams to an improved understanding and documentation of end-to-end processes of Client Funds Handling.
- You build our reputation as a trusted partner through collaboration with other departments in the business.

**Skills we can't do without**:

- You are fluent in English
- You are able to manage priorities and face escalation, strong system understanding, analytical skills,
- You have experience in:

- identifying and making suggestions for improvements when problems and/or opportunities arise, Data Model implementation,
- Integrating rules implementation (data load & extraction),
- Automatic controls & acceptance Testing Plan.

**Skills we'd like**:
It would be great if you have the following skills, too:

- Master’s Degree Commercial Engineer (finance specialization with data skills, strong knowledge Business Intelligence environment (i.e power BI, etc)), data centric/analytics)
- You have between 7 and 10 years of experience in similar functions
- You are turned to Project Management, hands-on
- You are fluent in English. French and/or German is an asset
