We are recruiting a qualified or graduated educator, or early childhood assistant for our new Kannerdreem crèche located in the Belair district in Luxembourg. We are looking for a professional whose profile corresponds to the values of respect and benevolence and to the modern and adapted pedagogy carried by our establishment.

Skills sought: very good command of English, knowledge in the field of childhood and pedagogy, gentle, attentive and caring attitude towards the child and his family, adaptability, rigor and punctuality, ability to work in a team, relational facilities and willingness to work in a real team cohesion in partnership with all the actors intervening within the establishment.

Educational and pedagogical missions:

- Prepare activities for the daily reception of children.
- Ensure the reception of the child and his development, his education and his socialization.
- Ensure the physical safety of the child, care and daily hygiene.
- Accompany the child in the different stages of life: meals, changing, naps, activities.
- Carry out specific actions that contribute to the awakening and overall development of children in a team project.
- Organize walks and socio-educational, fun and relaxing outings every day (excluding exceptional weather conditions).
- Develop and lead educational projects in the medium and long term.
- Develop and lead projects with external partners.
- Ensure the transmission of information and the relay between the family and the team.
- Write a monthly sheet for participation in the development of the logbook.
- Develop and enforce the plurilingual education project.

Operational assignments
- Organize the reception of children and their families and time with the children in complementarity with the team in place.
- Comply with regulatory and hygiene standards (e.g. HACCP etc.).
- Contribute to meeting the obligations of the SNJ by participating in the development of the logbook containing schedules, educational projects, activity sheets, staff sheets, educational reflections, etc.
- Work in partnership with other staff members and participate in department meetings.
- Supervise and support less qualified staff or staff in training.
