Intesa Sanpaolo is the banking group leader in Italy. **Scope and Purpose**:
Provide accounting and clerical assistance to the accounting department by typing accurately, preparing and maintaining accounting documents and records. Prepare the end of month financial situation of the bank and being able in transposing those information in the set of reports required by the Group to prepare its consolidated financial statements. - Carry out all the financial and accounting operations (accounts payable, VAT, reconciliation, etc.) and run the intermediate closing of accounts. - Involved in the preparation of financial statements and periodic reporting. - Collect and analyze the financial data and reconcile accounting statements with supporting accounting documents. - Investigate drivers of material movements in calculation variables impacting key reporting, interrogating systems and data, and liaising with other teams to understand root cause. - Interact with the Head Quarter to prepare the set of group reports and answers to questions to explain movements, trends, specific transactions. - Interact with the external auditors to answer their questions and support them during their missions providing proper information, documents, and explanations Keeping up-to-date with regulations and acting proactively for the correct implementation in the bank's situation
**Required Experience**:
- Bachelor degree in Accounting/Finance with minimum of 5 years of experience.
**Required Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge**:
Deep knowledge of financial and accounting procedures Deep knowledge of the International Financial Reporting Standards and their impacts on the banking sector Deep knowledge of the whole set of financial reports required by Regulators Good knowledge of Luxembourg tax and accounting standards. Knowledge of the Banking industry. Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases. Experience using financial software. Plus: Knowledge of Tagetik Reporting tool 1.
