**Unix Storage Administrator - CDI Opportunity**
Based in Luxembourg, located near the city centre
Must be eligible to work in Luxembourg.
Our client, a leading fund administrator is looking to hire a Unix Storage Administrator to join their existing team. In this role, you will be in charge of our clients Unix and central storage infrastructure. On a daily basis you will be involved in the overall management of the Unix environment as well as participating in project work. You will play an important role in the evolution and improvement of the platforms. You will be expected to manage the Unix servers in cluster mode, participate in installations and upgrades of the operating systems versions, analysing the server and disk behaviours regarding performance and system resources, monitoring and ensuring the proper functioning of the infrastructure. You will also contribute to technical and functional projects related to Unix and storage as well as drafting procedures and technical documentation.
Knowledge / skills required
- At least 3 years comparable experience.
- Unix experience.
- IBM AIX & Linux / Redhat experience.
- Unix Shell Scripting knowledge.
- Perl experience.
- Fluent in both French and English.
Highly Desirable:
- Knowledge of Dell EMC Storage: Unity / VPLEX / Data Domain / Clusters / Veritas / Netbackup / Workload Scheduling (IWS/IBM)
- Computer Science Degree.
