- Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the synthesis and crosslinking of polymer precursors using advanced chemistries.
- Conduct thorough molecular, thermal/mechanical, and rheological characterization of materials.
- Develop and optimize sustainable polymer formulations for advanced manufacturing processes.
- Produce sufficient quantities of materials (kg scale) for testing and demonstrator development.
- Participate in regular meetings and effectively communicate findings both orally and in written form.
- Take a leading role in the protection and dissemination of research outcomes.
- Collaborate constructively with a diverse team of colleagues, contributing to the group's and institution's success in an applied industrial context.
- Stay updated with advancements in sustainable polymer technologies and integrate new findings into ongoing projects.
- Participate in writing and leading sections of research project proposals.
- You hold a PhD degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, or a related field, and are eager to conduct impactful, high-quality experimental research in collaboration with a diverse group of colleagues.
- You thrive on learning new things, using your creativity to solve problems, and seizing opportunities to enhance your skills.
- You are proficient in English, both written and oral (minimum certified B2 level), and are adept at documenting your work meticulously.
- You are careful, conscientious, and well-organized in the lab, enjoy working with others, and are motivated to make a meaningful impact through your work.
