If yes, then this is the opportunity for you**WHAT IS THE ROLE?**- Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify and address maintenance needs of our buildings.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and make necessary repairs.
- Assist with small construction duties, office movements, meeting room setup and outside landscaping. Share information regarding refurbishments with internal & external stakeholders.
- Respond promptly to facility-related issues and emergencies to minimize downtime, in line with applicable instructions. Ensure that requests, corrective actions, and documentation are done in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with external contractors for specialized maintenance and repairs.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
- Weekly site inspection rounds formalized by an inspection report.
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergency support. Primary contact for facility related emergencies, which may require evening and weekend work.**WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?**- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or trade school training is a plus.
- Proven experience of minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role or as a Facility Technician.
- Good communication and customer service skills. Team player mindset.
- Good organizational & planning skills, with an eye for details. Problem solving attitude and ‘can-do’ approach.
- Awareness and understanding of health & safety in the workplace.
- Valid forklift license is an advantage.
