As part of the world’s largest online store, Amazon’s Operations Risk and Compliance (ORC) organization supports Amazon’s core businesses by ensuring that all products sold are safe and compliant and that our workplaces are safe and secure. Team’s North star goal is to achieve zero defect classification, on demand and with mínimal human intervention. Accurate and timely classification is critical to ORCs charter of risk mitigation and business enablement across programs, often having to address regulatory changes at speed. ORC ACES (Amazon Customer Excellence System) team is responsible for driving step-change improvements in the performance of Amazon’s World-Wide compliance operations. As a Senior Program Manager on the team, you’ll help design, create and deploy internal tools and tech that keep Amazon a safe place to shop. You’ll partner with multiple stakeholders to make sure that Amazon employees have the best user-facing tools and help us stay up-to-date with emerging compliance and regulatory changes. You will manage senior stakeholders across multiple internal organizations and will be responsible for delivering VP/ SVP goals. You will own governance mechanisms (WBR/MBR/QBR) across these teams/functions including senior leadership and highlight progress/blockers towards VP/SVP goals. The scale of projects will be World Wide (global impact across Amazon marketplaces). Given the size of our store, you’ll have a unique opportunity to operate at unmatched scale. Please note this role is based out of Bangalore or Luxembourg.

Key job responsibilities
- Design, create and deploy internal tools designed through robust problem solving, and deployed through strong program management & communication
- Manage senior stakeholders across multiple internal organizations including product, technology & operations and responsible for delivering VP/ SVP goals
- Own governance mechanisms (WBR/MBR/QBR) to monitor the progress of goal and highlight progress/blockers towards VP/SVP goals
- Use quantitative and qualitative data to prioritize and influence, and drive projects with urgency in a fast-paced environment
- Makes recommendations to senior management on opportunities for organizational and business-level risk mitigation regarding compliance

Luxembourg, LUX
- MBA
- Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt
- Experience dealing with ambiguity, and proficiency of hypothesis-led problem solving
- Experience in operating at both a strategic and operational level
- Relevant experience in driving complex change management initiatives with limited oversight, taking unpopular positions with ability to influence senior stakeholders, and acting as a force multiplier aligning different teams in a common objective
