We are looking for talented University Graduates Kick-start your career with our Focus-Track Graduate Programme within the Division COO & Intermediaries.

Our Graduate Programme supports your individual journey to unleash your full potential. We offer you three rotations in different teams, on
- and off-the-job training and the opportunity to start building your own network. Each rotation is designed to provide you with in‐depth knowledge and a sound foundation to perform in your focus area and beyond. One of these rotations will be an international assignment, enabling you to work abroad for a period of months.

Start date: 1 October 2023

Programme duration: 18 months

Join us and become part of the Agile Scrum Team in Luxembourg. As a Graduate Software Engineer, you will be able to demonstrate the skills and competencies of a Java front end developer. You will understand non-functional requirements, architecture and technical constraints related to Human Machine Interface and gather relevant feedback from peers, business analysts and users to continue improving systems.

**YOUR CHALLENGE**:

- Work in an agile project environment according to Scrum framework
- Be involved in the design of front-end solutions that will fit functional and non-functional requirements, project needs and operational constraints
- Be involved in the development of technical improvements
- Support the development and deployment capabilities
- Take part in the improvement and the streamlining of our development and deployment capabilities
- Work collaboratively with all teams
- Follow-up of your delivery tasks
- Collaborate with other Scrum, product and technology teams to get the best possible outcome for the bank and its customers
- Participate in Level 3 production support including issue analysis, solution specification, incident resolution and testing
- Take an active role in the Software Engineering communities in Julius Baer

**YOUR PROFILE**:

- Higher academic education (e.g. Master’s degree) in computer science, software engineering or related disciplines (graduation max. 12 months ago)
- Initial experience in Java, OData and UXP is considered as a plus
- Strong sense of responsibility and accountability
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills and experience of troubleshooting
- Knowledge on SQL / PL-SQL queries is considered as a plus
- A first experience of Web Development, Java, NodeJS, React, Python, Spring is considered as a plus
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Team player who enjoys working with people on all levels and can also work independently and under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Very good written and verbal skills in English, any other language especially French and/or German will be considered as an advantage
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Eligibility to work in Luxembourg
