**Junior Actuary (m/w/d)**
**Your role**
Acts as a motivated actuary assigned to the finance Department and providing highly accurate data and analyses for use by the chief life actuary in the evaluation of reserves, financial reporting, profitability, or the pricing of business.
In the context of two line of business (Group Savings and Group Risk), you are expected (or willing to improve) to:
**Finance**
- Perform the quarterly closing calculations and controls under both LuxGaap and IFRS 17 standards.
- Run the actuarial models to produce the best Estimate and the solvency II technical provisions
- Monitor the profitability analyses for defined segments of insurance business.
- Assist on the establishment of the reinsurance accounting
**Underwriting**
- Provide inputs for product development and pricing support
- Contribute to the production of technical notes.
**Regulatory reporting**
- Contribute to the elaboration and update of the technical note to the commissariat aux assurances
- Assist on the production of various Solvency II reports (actuarial function report, RSR, SFCR and ORSA).
**Actuarial**
- Maintain the Actuarial Model in line with local and group policies (governance, model change)
- Contribute to update and improve the internal processes
- Monitor the risk assessment as well as the solvency capital requirement calculations
- Perform research, experience studies and other statistical analysis for actuarial assumptions review
- Perform the actuarial controls with the internal risk-management platform.
**Operation**
- Support the operation department for ad hoc requests.
**Your skills and experience**
- Master degree (or equivalent) in actuarial science or quantitative studies (computer science, Finance, Mathematics/Statistics or similar)
- 1 to 3 years of experience with actuarial modelling tool (such as Prophet or Moses) and actuarial reporting framework (such as Lux Gaap, Solvency II, SST or IFRS17)
- Understanding of Solvency II and IFRS 17 standards will be an asset.
- Fluent in English (mandatory), German, French or any other language (optional)
- High level of user knowledge in MS-Office, in particular Excel
- Pricing, Statistics and Actuarial Modelling
- Quick of comprehension as well as analytical thinking
- Team-oriented, systematic and goal-orientated operating
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
