Join us as a Transfer Agency Shareholder Services Supervisor

Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting a Transfer Agency Shareholder Services Supervisor to join our Luxembourg team on a 12-month contract. In this role you will be responsible for Transfer Agency clients account management with the objective to achieve overall high client satisfaction. Specifics responsibilities include: serving as the key contact person for client/investor and inter-departmental coordination for enquiry, issue following up and projects, assist Managers/Team Leaders to ensure the team operates effectively and efficiently and that deadlines and standards are met.

Achieving this will require a high potential calibre with strong communication and inter-personal skills, self-motivated, results orientated, attention to detail, sensitivity to risk, good problems solving skill, ability to operate independently but equally a good team player working in the context of a global organization.
- Some of your key responsibilities include:_
- Client Servicing and Enquiries Handling
- Handle and follow-through all day-to-day enquiries as received from clients/investors to ensure prompt closure or appropriate escalation
- Establish solid network of contacts at the clients’ organizations and serve as an effective contact or escalation point for clients
- Drive project or business initiatives such as new fund launch or new client or process implementation
- Ensure client specifications such as SLAs, agreements, fund documentation or operating memorandum are closely adhered and followed. Ensure all tasks and duties as performed for clients are properly documented
- Proactively work with internal functions/departments to ensure requests, issues are promptly and appropriately escalated/addressed
- Adherence to internal policies and procedures and have them properly evidenced.
- Remain knowledgeable of changing industry initiatives (attend to presentations, work sessions & personal effort) and educate clients continually through presentations
- Establish, together with the Manager and Team Leader functional best practices and risk mitigating procedures
- Work with management to address training needs of the team to ensure knowledge enrichment and skill sets alignment to business needs
- Qualifications:_
- BA/MS degree and/or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of Transfer Agency experience and/or relevant financial industry experience
- Proven experience working in a client servicing focused business environment.
- Ability to drive or coordinate client requests/issues across functions and departments
- Attention to detail and proven ability to handle complexity
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and demonstrate initiative
- Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing
- Knowledge or prior experience of Multifunds TA is an advantage.
- Fluency in Japanese and English languages are required. Additional language proficiency is a plus
- Flexibility to work alternative hours and overtime (including bank holidays)
