- Anderson Wise is happy to share this exciting opportunity for an experienced compliance professional to utilize their expertise operating as Head of Compliance within a global renowned property and casualty insurance and reinsurance provider.
- Acting as a key function holder, you will report directly to the Chief Compliance Officer in America while regularly interacting with senior management across multiple jurisdictions and business units as you focus on the EU and UK offices.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensure local entities maintain regulatory compliance with laws and regulations.
- Assist in maintaining and enhancing the corporate compliance program in the EU region.
- Collaborate with the European-based Legal team and global Legal & Compliance Department.
- Implement a best-in-class compliance framework and coordinate reporting.
- Undertake compliance monitoring across the EU region.
- Act as the main point of contact for compliance issues in the EU region.
- Assist in updating the annual compliance monitoring plan.
- Communicate with regulators and stay abreast of regulatory developments.
- Serve as the main point of contact for compliance queries from various branch offices.
- Assist and coordinate regional compliance training.

**Your Profile**
- 10+ years in insurance industry compliance and regulatory affairs.
- Law degree background and experience interpreting laws and regulations.
- Well-organized with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented with excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in English.
