Description
- Apex is seeking a motivated professional with 4 to 8 years of work experience to join the Compliance Office of Fundrock LIS S.A. to support and work on various Compliance tasks, including AML/CFT topics. This full-time Compliance Officer role is based in Senningerberg, Luxembourg, and offers a favourable salary and benefits package.
- As a Senior Compliance Officer, you will report to the Head of Compliance in Luxembourg and work closely with the other members of the department in Apex and Valencia. There will be an induction for the different tasks.
- During your first few weeks in this Compliance Officer role, you can expect to take on some of the following:
- Strong relevant academic background (preferably in law or economics) and 4 to 8 years of work experience in the financial services industry, preferably in the Luxembourg fund industry or audit;-
- Ensure compliance, together with the Compliance Team, with local laws and regulations, as well as to the internal and group policies and procedures-
- Give guidance to all levels of employees in relation to the execution and implementation of regulatory obligations and internal procedures-
- Management and performance of controls in accordance with compliance monitoring-
- Plan and ad hoc controls-
- You will also take on tasks in the daily processing of hits as part of the AML/CFT and sanctions screening of clients, business partners, and funds assets-
- Oversee the maintenance of Compliance logs, such as Conflict of Interest register, Complaints register, PEP register-
- Provide in-house trainings to all level of staff.-
- Willingness to maintain good knowledge of the relevant legal and regulatory requirements of the Fund industry in Luxembourg, as well as AML/CFT-
- Confidence in the use of common MS Office programs (Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint) and good Excel skills-
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English and German would be advantageous (basic knowledge of the French language is also desirable)-
