Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field
- Experience in program or project management
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Experience leading process improvements
- Familiarity with operations, logistics and supply chain management concepts.
- Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Desire to manage a complex stakeholder environment.
- Strong analytical/quantitative skills and ambition to develop these further.

We are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join as a Transportation Program Manager in our European Transportation team.
Position can be based in Munich, Luxembourg, Milan, London, Paris, Madrid.

Key job responsibilities
**As a Transportation Program Manager, you will**:
- Own and manage transportation portfolio strategy and ensure internal technical stakeholders are engaged to deliver solutions.
- Lead and execute both strategic and operational transportation optimization projects with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
- Take the driving seat of the next big transport innovations in continental Europe and translate concepts/ideas into proven enhanced customer experience.
- Simplify the lives of your customers via process improvements, optimization and automation
- Be the distinguished point of contact for internal stakeholders and other transportation teams, like customer service, finance, network design, quality, forecasting processes.
- Advise Amazon leadership team proactively of critical situations along with mitigation plans

We support our customers to deliver packages faster, cheaper, more reliable and more sustainable. Positioned within the Global Transportation Services organization we are driving EU-wide cross-functional and transformational projects with the aim to automate and scale our interaction with internal and external partners.
