**_Job Description _**:

- This is an new position within the Luxembourg Branch. _
- Handelsbanken Luxembourg Branch started its activities in 1978 and is part of Handelsbanken Global Banking (HCG). We support the Bank’s customers in the focus markets with their international business. The Branch core business is Private banking (discretionary and execution-only services) and mortgage lending in Spain, Portugal and France. _
- We are looking for a Head of AML and Regulatory Management who will report in to the General Manager of the Luxembourg Branch and head up the newly formed AML and Regulatory team. _
- The main responsibilities will be the following: _
- _Overseeing the AML and Regulatory function which includes Financial Crime Prevention, Documentation Group and Business Control _
- _Management of six employees _
- _Member of the Local Management Committee _
- _Constantly reviewing the Branch’s internal control environment, identifying potential gaps and implementing corrective measures _
- _Coordination of the management of AML and regulatory requirements within the first line entity of the Branch’s business. Approve all AML and regulatory related instructions before publication. _
- _Ensure an efficient cooperation with second line units (risk control and compliance), third line (internal audit) and external audit _
- _Ensure a highly focused and strong management of AML and regulatory matters, including ensuring the Branch’s full compliance of Luxembourg regulatory requirements (with a special focus on AML and MiFID obligations including SFDR) _
- _Ensure effective first line business controls and compliance with laws and regulations; _
- _Approver/publisher of all branch LIS (except for Compliance and Audit) _
- _Privacy Officer of the Branch, responsible person locally for GDPR issues _
- _Authorised signature of the Branch _
- _Member of the Customer Committee _
- _Adviser to the General manager for any communication with supervisory authorities (CSSF, FIU, etc.) _

- A proven track record in a similar role _
- _Adept at managing a shifting landscape and leading others through change _
- _Solid knowledge of private banking products, AML and MiFID rules regulations _
- _Solid knowledge of CSSF Circulars applicable to the Branch _
- _Solid knowledge of GDPR and operational risk related matters _
- _Good communication skills, both written and oral _
- _Leadership qualities and abilities _
