**ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY**
In the context of the successful acquisition of the European Union satellite communication program, the role will contribute to the programmatic & organizational aspects during competitive tender preparation and negotiation phases. In this position you should involve in preparing and supporting negotiation stages with customers and vendors, work closely with various SES functions/departments as well as potential 3rd Parties (e.g. partners in consortia and/or JV, etc.), to manage and report on performance criteria as well as along contractual obligations towards Customers, but also take a leading role of managing a combination of small and medium projects which involve all phases of project implementation including design, development, integration, validation and handover sub-phases during contract realization.

You will be responsible for

Pre-Sales:

- Contribute the attraction of contracts by contributing to the various ‘request for proposal’ phases like pro-posal preparation (including documents preparation and revision), proposal handover, negotiations, con-tract set-up
- Manage the set-up of costing/pricing templates in the frame of proposal set-up and in view of contract realizations
- Assess scope, schedule, resources, cost, margins and quality
- Coordinate or manage bid teams, either SES teams or multi-company teams

Post-Sales:

- Based on pre-sales works and customer contract award, set up cost budgets, handle procurements, manage developments and installations, document systems and prepare the handover to internal/external Customers
- Monitor status and drive delivery of milestones by use of a project management tools as appropriated to report and document project status and progress and as per available SES tools
- Coordinate and follow-up with other functions (Engineering, Operations, Project Control, Legal, Finance) for the transparent and effective realization of assigned projects
- Manage trust-based customer relationships
- Input preparation of Operational Expenses budgets, provide reporting inputs when required
- Travel as required for project realization purposes

**YOUR PROFILE**:
1. Must Have
- University Degree in Engineering (e.g. RF, Electronics, Microwave, Telecommunications Engineering, Information Technology)
- Around 10 years of applicable working experiences related to end-to-end project management, along waterfall PM principles and/or AGILE methodologies ideally in the European institutional domain and involving multiple external parties (suppliers, contractors, subcontractors)
- Sound Business development experience and knowledge of systems engineering principals
- Extensive experience in managing scope, resources, time schedules and budget
- Knowledge of Microsoft office suite and Microsoft Project
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Willingness to enroll in the clearance process

2. Nice to Have
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and/or AGILE certifications
- High degree of analytical sense
- Understanding of internal work process and people skills to work with other departments
- Coordination and priority setting abilitie
