We are looking for a well-qualified and enthusiastic English teacher who will provide first-class teaching and learning opportunities for pupils in Years 7 to Year 13. Furthermore, we seek someone who loves getting involved across many aspects of a broad school experience. Exceptional people skills, flexibility and energy, together with a willingness to go the extra mile, are all essential.
**Secondary English Teacher**
Full Time for a 1-year period.
Starting September 1st, 2024.
**Job Purpose**
- An inspiring professional demonstrating thorough curriculum knowledge.
- Effective classroom practitioner utilising a range of differentiation and target setting techniques.
- Inspire trust and confidence in students and colleagues.
- Build team commitment with colleagues and in the classroom engage and motivate students.
- Demonstrate analytical thinking to improve the quality of students' learning, contribute to the school improvement / development planning and promote the learning priorities of the school improvement plan.
- Contribute to the development and / or implementation of school policies.
- Promote the wider aspirations and values of the school.
**You will have/be**:
- Qualified Teacher.
- Be able to teach ages 11 to 18 within your specialist field
- Have experience of teaching GCSE and A Level
- Operate at all times within the stated policies and practices of the school.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of good practice in teaching techniques.
- Take account of wider curriculum developments.
- Undertake professional development to enhance teaching and students' learning and share outcomes with colleagues.
- Communicate to students the requirements of e-safety.
