We are looking for a highly motivated financial analyst with strong financial accounting and analytical skills to join our team in Luxembourg.
**Financial Reporting**:
Financial reporting for a portfolio of European commercial real estate investments including timely and accurate recording of monthly results obtained from service providers
Financial reporting for certain corporate structures including timely and accurate recording of monthly results obtained from service providers
**Month end review and reporting**: preparation of journal entries, bank reconciliations, month end key indicator and variance analysis against budgets, equity, investment and intercompany account reconciliations, cash management, general and administrative expense analysis, etc.
Coordination of interim and year-end audits for various entities
**Financial Planning & Analysis and Operational Support**:
Review and analysis of annual operating plans and quarterly reforecasts with our various European teams and asset managers
Assisting in operational support comprising of accounts payable and processing payments as required
**Process Innovation and Controls**:
Participation in projects with a focus on continuous improvement and making recommendations for efficiencies in day-to-day responsibilities; and
Ensure compliance with Oxford’s processes and controls.
A total of 3 years of experience, with experience in Real Estate (preferred) and/or a large, complex organization;
**Education**: University degree and pursuing or obtained a professional accounting designation (ACCA/CPA);
A strong understanding of IFRS accounting principles (including consolidation) and Lux GAAP
Experience with JD Edwards and Hyperion Financial Management is strongly preferred;
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, have proven financial analytical skills with attention to detail;
Have experience working with international organizations in a multi-currency environment;
A proven track record of thriving in organizations that constantly evolve and adapt;
A strong willingness to embrace collaborative sharing of knowledge within a teamwork environment, as well as a drive to deliver the highest performance through creative thinking.
Possess strong written and verbal communication skills;
Fluent spoken and written English is essential, proficiency in French and German is highly desirable (but not essential);
