**About the Role**:
**Ferrero Luxembourg HQ **is looking for a motivated **Data Scientist intern** to join the **Food Saftey and Quality department.**
Thank to this exciting opportunity, you will** bridge the gap between data collection and actionable insights**, helping visualize data for various areas of business and thereby supporting them in making strong decisions.
**Main Responsibilities**:
Covering this role, you will** collect, clean, and analyze data**. Specifically, you will gather and process large amounts of data from various sources and extract meaningful insights from large datasets using advanced statistical techniques and software. Moreover, you will investigate patterns and relationships between variables to identify trends or correlations.
Once data is collected and organized, you will **create predictive models** that leverage algorithms to find deeper insights into datasets. You will also enhance existing analytics platforms by improving and updating existing analytics systems.
Your activities will include **visualizing complex data to communicate insights** effectively (MS Power BI or Python) and designing and implementing algorithms to solve specific business problems.
Latly you will contribute to strategic recommendations, communicating findings to stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.
**Who we are looking for**:
You will bring knowledge from a **degree in mathematics, computer science, statistics** or related.
You will succeed in this role thanks to your strong proficiency in MS Excel, SAP BW data extraction and MS Power Apps.
Any prior experience with database and model design, segmentation techniques, data visualization or KPIs reporting will also be valuable.
