This is a Remote job but must work remotely from EU state based role with an excellent immediate start within a Global Consulting company working on their largest digital and technological transformation program.

**Job overview**:
As a Virtualization Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing cutting-edge solutions from various vendors and enhancing existing solutions to address business needs. Working closely with customers, you will define project scopes, understand business requirements, design solutions, and meticulously document architectures. Collaborating with operational teams, you will transition and hand over infrastructure, emphasizing automation as a primary goal. Additionally, you will be responsible for providing level 3 support and ensuring the continuous availability and confidentiality of services.

**Requirements**:

- EU citizenship.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required; proficiency in any other European language is a plus.
- Ability to create comprehensive current state and future state solution architecture documents, detailing platforms, technologies, integration, and communication methods.
- Effective communication with stakeholders at various levels to convey complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner
- **Expertise in virtualization technologies, including vSphere, vCenter, VSAN, NSXT, and VMware Aria Operations.**:

- **Proficiency in VMware Aria Automation, understanding of production constraints, and readiness to provide occasional support during non-business hours.**:

- Familiarity with ITIL and project management methodologies is advantageous.
- Capability to design and implement large-scale, high-availability solutions.
- **Knowledge of network concepts and components, along with the ability to configure, monitor, and troubleshoot features and components.**:

- An asset would be knowledge of PKS (Pivotal Container Service).
- Proven experience in virtualization architecture and design.
- Relevant certifications in virtualization technologies.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to evolving business needs.
- Demonstrated commitment to automation and efficiency
