To expand our production site for car glass (roofs, windshields and rear windows) in Grevenmacher (Luxembourg), we are looking for committed colleagues (f/m/d) who will help shape our success story through their expertise and passion.

The CAD/CAM Product Designer designs, develops, or modifies automotive glazing systems using computer-aided drafting and 3D modeling systems. This role will also be responsible for drafting 2D engineering and manufacturing drawings of our glass products, assembly and component drawings using industry GD&T standards as required to support new and existing OEM model requirements.

**You can look forward to these exciting tasks**:

- Develop and provide 3D CAD models and engineering drawings of Webasto glass products for all OE customers in native CAD format
- Generate and support CAD and CAE studies with 2D/3D CAD models for analysis supporting new OE models
- Develop and provide internal manufacturing specification drawings to Webasto manufacturing plants
- Support engineering studies on design for products, associated components, and structures by using 3d CAD models to develop feasibility drawings and technical data sheets
- Support tooling engineers and suppliers with 3D math data transfers
- Support Webasto feasibility and quoting process utilizing appropriate cad tools for technical information

**Here’s what you can bring to the team**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in CAD Design, Industrial Engineering or equivalent preferred
- 3+ years of experience in automotive product design using CATIA cad tools
- 3+ years of experience in CAD 2D drawing generation using industry standard GD&T methodology
- 1+ years of experience in automotive glass products highly preferred
- Valid driver’s license required for business travel
- Cooperate within teams to carry out tasks and responsibilities
- Experience in formulating and managing project schedules
- Advanced/Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Excel, Project, and Power Point
- Advanced/Intermediate skill level with CATIA, UG, and TCe
- Advanced/Intermediate experience in industry drafting and CAD standards
- Good communication skills in English are mandatory; German is a strong asset
- Advanced/Hands-on approach to problem solving and analysis
- Understands and proactively supports execution of Webasto strategy
