**Summary**:
We are currently looking for a Senior Fund Accountant specialized in UCITS, Private Equity or both to join one of our clients.
Our client is an Investment Bank with Fund Services department that is looking for a new Fund Accountant with around 4- 7 years experience. This company has a very good reputation and is growing more and more towards the PE space, therefore this is a very good opportunity for someone that is working in traditional funds and wants to transition into the Private Equity space.
- Second level controls and NAV validation of intra-group UCITS funds
- Execute calculation of the Net Asset Value of third-party funds in accordance with internal procedures and SLA signed with the clients
- Maintenance of daily accounting records
- Pricing of underlying investments
- Cash and portfolio reconciliation
- Processing of fund’s invoices and expenses, cash-flow management
- Preparation of semi-annual and annual financial statements of the funds
- Preparation and transmission of statistical reporting to the regulatory authorities
- Co-ordination of the funds audit and follow-up on auditor requests
- Control of investment restrictions and follow-up of breaches with the Fund Managers
**Key requirements**:
- Education: Bachelor degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance or equivalent
- Experience: 5+ years relevant experience in the Fund Administration industry, preferably with a focus on UCITS funds. Experience with alternative investment funds would be considered as an asset
- Technical skills: Overall knowledge of the whole fund activity business (custody, transfer agent, corporate services ); good proficiency of Microsoft office tools; Languages: Fluent English and French
