Loan Administration Assistant

The Manpower Permanent Placement agency is recruiting for one of its clients, a stable financial institution, a Loan Administration Officer fluent in English and Portuguese (Fixed term contract with the bank to cover a maternity and parental leave) M/F/X, to support the Loan department. We are looking for people with a relevant experience in term of loan and informed about the AML and KYC legislation.

**Yours tasks**:

- Coordinate with various departments, clients, and credit agents to process loan transactions.
- Analyze transaction documentation for potential AML and CTF concerns, reporting findings.
- Verify completeness of disbursement documents and necessary authorizations.
- Input transaction and guarantee details into the accounting system, making necessary modifications.
- Prepare timely payments for transactions and Standby Letter of Credits (SBLCs).
- Provide weekly reports on maturing transactions, maturing SBLCs, and unpaid amounts.
- Ensure accurate and timely payments, addressing delays and late payment fees.
- Manage transaction maintenance for events during the lifecycle.
- Adjust differences between loans and SBLCs in the accounting system.
- Process SBLC executions and assist with transaction approvals when needed.
- Maintain organized operational files and assist with Auditors' files.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to enhancements.
- Perform additional administrative tasks as directed by your supervisor.

**Your profile**:

- Bachelor’s degree in business Administration, in Economics, Finance, International Trade, or equivalent experience.
- Fluent in English, Portuguese, and French.
- Strong command of banking operations, particularly credit operations.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and priority-setting skills.
- Discretion, confidentiality, and strong ethical standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook.
