**About the Role**
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to be a Compliance Officer for Swiss Re's EMEA Reinsurance and Corporate Solutions businesses, The role will be located in Luxembourg, where two major Swiss Re Reinsurance & Corporate Solution entities are domiciled. Therefore this role will have a primary focus on the monitoring and implementation of Luxembourg regulatory requirements relating to Compliance Risks for both reinsurance and commercial lines business. You will support the Reinsurance and Corporate Solutions Management as well as provide assurance and reporting into the local Board of Directors.
**In addition, you will**:
- Support the development of the Swiss Re Compliance Programme and associated compliance risk mitigation standards for existing, new and changes to regulations including policies, guidelines, training and communication
- Provide enabling guidance to the business with respect to Compliance requirements and implementation of the Compliance Programme, with a particular focus on Luxembourg requirements
- Attend and engage with local Luxembourg (re)insurance market association meetings
- Regularly interact with and provide updates to the Commissariat aux Assurances (CAA), as our home state regulator
- Perform Compliance Risk Assessments
- Support oversight and provide assurance to management regarding the business' implementation of the Compliance Programme through performance and support of assurance activities
- Provide training on relevant compliance risks to Boards, management team/staff
- Support Global Compliance initiatives by providing input and coordinate with the global team
**About the Team**
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of two key areas of Swiss Re's business. You will be a member of the Reinsurance EMEA Compliance team, reporting into the Head of Compliance Reinsurance EMEA with a dotted line into the Head of Compliance Corporate Solutions. Both teams are client facing with an international footprint. We provide end-to-end guidance on key Compliance risks including AML, ITC, Anti-Bribery & Corruption, Data Protection, Conduct Risk and others relating to Swiss Re Group's Reinsurance & Corporate Solutions businesses. Our clients are diverse and driven business teams, committed to delivering value and innovative services and products.
**About You**
- University degree or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 5 years' experience in compliance, risk or governance related roles with experience in the Luxembourg market
- Experience in regulatory interactions with the Commissariat aux Assurances (CAA)
- Experience of regulatory issues in respect of anti-money laundering, international trade controls and data protection
- Ability to take ownership and prioritise and work in a highly dynamic and changing matrix environment
- Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Fluent in English and French, other languages a plus
