As part of its development and in order to strengthen its BIM service, Rizzani de Eccher S.A. Luxembourg is currently looking for BIM Coordinators for immediate entry.

A member of the BIM service, you will be dedicated to the activities of the Luxembourg entity. Hierarchically, you will report to the BIM Manager of the BIM department.

BIM Coordinators Mechanical/Electrical (M/F)

These are key roles to manage projects in line with the Project BIM Strategy across the multiple Engineering stakeholders and Site production. To coordinate the programme production teams, which include technical upskilling and mentoring. The single point of contact on project(s), responsible for ensuring team optimization for working in Revit, associated technologies, workflows, and for delivery of coordinated models, data, reports and other related project documentation.

Responsibilities - General :

  • Ensure project is developed and coordinated in accordance with BIM contractual requirements,
  • BIM Coordination and daily management of BIM project data sets/workflows and project set up
  • Support/lead the adoption of BIM tools and processes at the regional and project level
  • Demonstrating a solid understanding of BIM processes, standards and construction processes across all stages of the project lifecycle
  • Manage and aggregate BIM submitted by project stakeholders as per BIM submittal and coordination schedule
  • Participate in BIM Coordination Meetings between project stakeholders to resolve clashes and coordination issues highlighted
  • Conduct and report on Quality Check on the models as per the BIM Quality Control Program
  • Manage track and communicate changes to the models, throughout the construction phase of the project
  • Aggregate and submit models to the project stakeholders as per the submittal plan and facilitate the use of these models by the different parties on the project
  • Report activities progress on the format of a construction/design schedule for integration on the actual vs planned BIM reporting
  • Collaboration on the identification of potential uses of local simulations and sequences for mitigation of construction risks

Skills:

  • Able to demonstrate ability to undertake the above responsibilities
  • In depth knowledge of the latest version of Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Tekla, Navisworks, Syncho 4D/Field, Primavera P6 / MS Project, CostX, BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud, Aconex, Access, Excel
  • Experience of running clash detection, and producing clash reports Production cycle and priorities
  • Bachelor's and Associate Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction, Construction Management, Technical Design Education, Technology, Computer Science, programming

Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 year's experience as a BIM Coordinator on medium/large scale projects managed with Autodesk Revit and associated technologies;
  • Manage and maintain project content and source additional content for project teams
  • Able to support project staff in general office duties including filing, control of incoming/outgoing documents
  • Experience working in an architectural/engineering design/construction environment
  • Knowledge of Rhino, Grasshopper, Dynamo for Autodesk Revit and the ability to read and write scripts
  • Structural BIM Modeller software specifics skills:
    • Tekla
