Background information:

The Financial Control Division is comprised of four Units:
- Financial Operations Unit, primarily responsible for transactions settlement
- Financial Reporting Unit, mainly in charge of managing financial reporting matters
- Liquidity Management Unit, mainly responsible for managing liquidity and client treasury portfolios
- Financial Accounting Unit
As part of the Financial Control Division, the Financial Accounting Unit is primarily responsible for bookkeeping.

You will work under the guidance and supervision of the Head of Unit - Financial Accounting reporting to the Head of Division - Financial Control. Working collaboratively within a team, you will closely cooperate with other relevant departments within the Group and external auditors.

Your responsibilities:

Matching your experience and seniority level, your main responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring accuracy, completeness, and reliability of financial data

• Overseeing bookkeeping for products across the group and managed mandates

• Maintaining financial accounts, journals, ledgers, and records within automated or manual systems with supporting documentation

• Contributing to regular updates of accounting ledgers

• Handling information requests and ensuring timely delivery

• Cooperating with client services and external auditors when necessary

• Upholding high accounting standards in client activities

• Contributing to defining, maintaining, and enhancing Financial Accounting Unit procedures

• Identifying and resolving problematic transactions and irregularities in accounts promptly and effectively

• Assisting external auditors, organizing, and overseeing audits

Your profile:


• University degree, preferably post-graduate, in a relevant field like Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or similar

• Additional professional qualifications are advantageous

• A minimum of three (3) years post-graduate professional experience matching the current position's responsibility level in accounting, preferably in a multinational organization, reputable accounting/audit institution, or banking sector

• Familiarity with various accounting standards such as IFRS, IPSAS, EU Accounting rules, and national frameworks like Luxembourg Accounting Principles is a plus

• Knowledge of People Soft, Business Objects, or similar tools is beneficial

• Proficient in written and spoken English. Knowledge of French and/or other EU languages is advantageous.
