Purpose and Activities:
- Conducting thorough analysis and offering recommendations to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.
- Actively participate in implementing and maintaining the AML and Compliance Control Plan independently, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, follow-up on recommendations, risk mapping, and requests from executive bodies.
- Review documents and procedures to identify weaknesses or risks, verify compliance with applicable regulatory requirements (such as AML, GPDR, MIFID, MAR), assess Compliance and AML risk, and report to the Compliance & AML Manager.
- Conduct investigations on suspicious clients and transactions, perform due diligence on distributors/fund initiators and third parties according to AML rules.
- Handle claims and complaints from customers and/or distributors.
- Monitor compliance with identified conflicts of interest and the Internal Code of Conduct.
- Propose new directives/procedures to enhance systems, methodologies, and streamline processes for improved efficiency.
- Collaborate with the Parent Company, Eurizon Capital SGR S.p.A.
- Monitor the implementation of recommendations and provide support to business functions when needed.
- Assist the Compliance Manager in relevant projects.
- Ensure all employees are well-versed in updated regulations and processes, oversee and implement an ongoing training program for employees and the board.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience in Compliance, audit, or a similar position.
- Master's degree in legal, economics, finance, business administration, or a related field.
- Additional certifications would be beneficial.
- Solid Knowledge of UCITS and AIFM Regulation.
- Thorough understanding of the European and Luxembourgish regulatory framework relevant to the Fund Industry (including GPDR, MIFID, MAR, MMF, etc.).
- Proficiency in computer-based tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook.
- Fluency in English and Italian, with French considered an advantage.
- Exemplary integrity and personal accountability.
- Outstanding team spirit and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail, autonomy, and proactive approach.
- Thorough, well-organized, with a structured and logical methodology.
- Strong research and analytical capabilities.
