Junior Tax Consultant for our VAT department

Your potential team
Our indirect tax team is made up of a diverse group of specialists from around the world, focused on VAT compliance and advisory services. Juniors and trainees play a crucial role in our VAT team as they can quickly apply their knowledge to real-life situations, under the guidance of experienced professionals.
Your upcoming challenge
- Supporting and guiding clients on VAT issues, nationally and internationally, by establishing strong relationships with them. This guidance primarily involves VAT implications on specific structures and operations
- Preparing documents related to VAT compliance services (e.g. VAT registration applications, VAT returns) for a designated client portfolio, with supervision from a VAT expert
- Communicating with clients and VAT Authorities
- Assisting in research and participating in strategy and positioning discussions
- Ensuring, along with other client service teams, that services are delivered in line with Deloitte's quality standards
- Receiving regular feedback to support your continuous growth
Your qualifications
- Hold a Master's degree in Tax Law
- Ideally have some previous experience in Tax
- Have a practical mindset and the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines, while adhering to company policies and procedures
- Proficient in MS-Office software
- Excited to apply your expertise to the VAT field and become a VAT specialist
- Showcase strong organizational skills, energy, and a drive to learn and progress
- Fluency in French and English
