Manager for our VAT Advisory department

Our Indirect Taxes team brings together 60 professionals from 8 different nationalities, combining extensive practical experience to provide VAT advice to clients in various industries.
Your next challenge- Providing guidance on indirect tax implications in mergers & acquisitions and setting up new fund structures
- Producing client deliverables outlining interpretations of domestic and international laws, business and technical discoveries, and suggesting solutions
- Engaging with clients and VAT Authorities, understanding local tax structures and responsibilities of taxpayers and authorities
- Mentoring junior employees through training, coaching, and supervision
- Attending client meetings and training sessions, actively participating in client interactions, and contributing to articles and presentations
- Collaborating with other departments within Deloitte Luxembourg, including different tax teams
- Establishing strong relationships with clients and leveraging our global network
- Contributing to internal workshops and projects
- Developing high-performing teams through challenging opportunities
- Providing exceptional client service and driving performance
- Leading by example and building strong relationships
- Aligning people with key objectives and priorities
- 4-6 years' experience in indirect taxes, with supervisory experience preferred
- University degree in Economics, Law, or Business with a focus on tax
- Fluency in French or German and English
- Strong organizational, flexibility, teamwork, dynamism, and eagerness to learn
- Commitment to sharing knowledge within a multicultural team
