Head of Document Management Solutions Unit

You will lead a team and oversee the creation, execution, and upkeep of document and record management applications within the digital workplace setting.
Operating Network:
You will directly report to the Head of Content Management Solutions Division. This division guarantees alignment with business requirements, as well as the general functional and technical strategy, ensuring smooth information management operations and maximizing the EIB knowledge base value through the solutions provided.
What Will You Do:
- Contribute to shaping the Information Management Solutions strategy for EIB Group, collaborating closely with business units or counterparts
- Lead the Unit team (e.g. setting individual goals, evaluating performance, offering continuous feedback), providing guidance and assistance to team members. Collaborate with the Head of Division in recruiting new personnel
- Take full responsibility for implementing and preserving document and record management solutions within the Unit scope
- Supervise document and record management solutions for short, medium, and long-term, ensuring optimal alignment between the IT strategy, business strategy, and internal or external IT trends in coordination with Enterprise Architecture, IT Security, and other key stakeholders
- Oversee the overall operation of IT processes in your domain, managing project work scheduling, assignment, and review, intervening when necessary
- Transfer knowledge to other Division Units to support Division objectives achievement. Foster a motivating workplace and ensure efficient collaboration among team members, information dissemination within the Division and the Department
- Deliver high-quality specialized advice in the document and record management sector throughout the Bank's digital transformation; actively engage in new information management projects, particularly those involving cutting-edge technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI)
- Coordinate and supervise crucial external entities (software vendors, outsourced service providers, peer groups, etc.) within your domain to enhance services, keep up with best practices, and ensure the successful delivery of expected solutions to internal business clients
Qualifications:
- Hold a University degree (at least equivalent to a Bachelor's) preferably in Engineering, Information Technology, Information Management, or a related discipline
- Minimum 5 years' pertinent IT professional experience, especially in managing, designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining content management systems, particularly document and record management solutions. Holding certifications in information management (ARMA-IGP, AIIM-CIP, etc.) would be advantageous
- Demonstrated experience in managing or coaching individuals, particularly in multicultural environments or international institutions
- Solid experience in overseeing the IT lifecycle of document and record management solutions using OpenText Content Server. Experience in leading projects involving document and record management in SharePoint/M365, cloud solutions, and AI content services would be beneficial
- Familiarity with project management principles, methods, and practices, agile methodology, and ITIL. Possessing certifications in Project Management (PM2, Prince2, or PMP/PMI) would be beneficial
- Good understanding of service contracts, including procurement matters
- Excellent command of English and/or French, with a decent grasp of the other language. Proficiency in other EU languages would be advantageous
