We are searching for an extraordinary Business Continuity Strategist who will have a key role in shaping and executing our Group's Business Continuity Strategy. The goal is to enhance, automate, and improve how we manage business continuity. Your knowledge will be vital in guaranteeing that the EIB Group remains robust and can quickly bounce back from any interruptions, protecting our essential business activities. You will report directly to the Head of Access, Controls & Governance Unit and collaborate closely with various levels across EIB Group, and all defense lines.
- Play a crucial role in evolving the EIB Group's Business Continuity Management Programme. Conduct in-depth interviews throughout the organization, partnering with the second line of defense to enhance the Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and Risk Assessment (RA).
- Use insights to suggest dynamic improvements to our Business Continuity Strategy, focusing on leveraging cutting-edge technologies and evolving business continuity requirements.
- Work with interdisciplinary teams to define thorough business continuity plans, ensuring that critical business activities are resilient and can recover quickly in case of a crisis.
- Share your expertise in promoting awareness about business continuity. Develop and provide engaging training sessions and simulations to ensure all employees understand our Business Continuity Policy, Strategy, and Plans.
- Foresee and get ready for potential disaster scenarios. Establish detailed operational procedures, including infrastructure requirements, to effectively mitigate risks.
- Coordinate business continuity initiatives, smoothly integrating results into the EIB Group's comprehensive Business Continuity Plans.
- Provide proactive advice and suggestions to align the EIB Group with top practices, safeguarding our essential business activities.
- Lead in incidents, overseeing the response and restoration of crucial operations in collaboration with the Crisis Management Team and BC key personnel.
- Develop solid business relationships across the EIB Group, ensuring harmony with business needs and risk tolerance. Stay updated on industry trends by networking with professional organizations and experts.
University degree (minimum equivalent to a Bachelor), preferably in information technology, telecommunications, risk management, business administration, or security.At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in Business Continuity or Disaster Recovery, ideally within financial institutions.Familiarity with international standards and regulations in the field of business continuity (BCI's GPG, ISO/TS 22317 standard).Experience/knowledge of IT applications in financial domains.Proficient in documentation, reporting, and presentation.Certifications in Business Continuity or Disaster Recovery would be a plus.Fluent in English and/or French, preferably with a good understanding of the other language.Source:
