Job Content :
We are looking for an experienced, talented and self-motivated professional to take the position of Solutions Architect.
Inside the department managing company IT solutions to the benefit of internal professionals taking care of our customers, you will be integrated into the team responsible for the design phase of the implementation projects.
Your mission will focus on 2 main activities:
- For each assigned project, you will:
- be responsible for the overall application design to meet the business requirements as well as technical requirements,
- participate along with the development manager/leader to deliver the complete solution for our internal & external customers,
- follow-up interaction between development teams and infrastructure teams to favour the complete delivery of your design.
- Cooperate with your team colleagues, to leverage common Architecture knowledge and expertise and constantly optimize processes and deliverables
Profile :
Education:
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or business Information Systems.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Technical Architect or technical specialist.
Proven experience in system integration in complex environments and API design utilizing RESTful architecture patterns.
Familiarity with Agile (Scrum) project methodology and practices.
Technical Skills:
Solid architecture knowledge: SOA, Microservices, event/message-driven, SSO,
Proficiency in UML framework,
Experience in API design and integration: Webservices, SOAP, and REST design patterns,
Strong Java development (JEE) and Spring framework knowledge,
Solid understanding of network infrastructure including network security, proxies, protocols, Linux, and Windows,
Experience in data modeling and database design: SQL/NoSQL,
Knowledge of container technologies and orchestrators.
Considered a Plus:
Understanding of the telecom business,
Experience with DevOps,
Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow, and SharePoint,
Working knowledge of TOGAF or another Enterprise Architecture framework,
Understanding of cloud-native architectures,
Knowledge of modern data processing techniques and systems,
Experience in BPMN design and working knowledge of BPM suites.
Soft Skills:
Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into solution designs,
Experience considering non-functional requirements in design (scalability, redundancy/availability, security, maintainability, fault tolerance),
Comfortable interfacing with clients and external vendors,
Strong written and verbal communication skills,
Fluency in English and French is a must; knowledge of German and/or Luxembourgish is considered an asset.
