Your responsibilities
- Batch Management: Design, test, and implement batch changes through development partitions, ensuring a smooth transition into production under robust change management processes
- TWS Administration: Oversee and manage TWS (Tivoli Workload Scheduler) operations.
- Process Development : Develop, implement, and document operational processes and procedures
- Real-Time Control: Maintain real-time batch control
- Production Deployment: Manage production deployments through E-Gen or Cortex
- Issue Identification: Identify and resolve issues related to scheduling activities, including production batch issues
- 24hr Support: Participate in an on-call rotation after business hours to provide 24-hour support for any production operational issues
Your profile
- Batch Scripting: Proficiency in JCL (Job Control Language) and REXX (Restructured Extended Executor)
- Cortex Expertise: Knowledge and experience with Cortex from Roquet Software are mandatory
- Troubleshooting: Ability to troubleshoot system software and connectivity issues
- Tool Familiarity: Familiarity with the aforementioned tools and processes
- Self-Motivation: Dynamic, proactive, and customer-oriented attitude with the ability to work under tight schedules
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, and strong interpersonal skills
- Stress Management: Ability to handle stress effectively
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in French and English
