Engineer AS Mainframe

I'm looking for an Engineer AS Mainframe for one of my client based in Luxembourg.
  • Half time (50%) position : you can work one week over two ; or 2.5 days a week
  • Freelance contract or payrolling contract
  • The position is based in Luxembourg with an hybrid remote policy
  • French and English fluent are mandatory for the position
  • 1 year renewable contract
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Design, Test and implement batch changes through development partitions moving into production under robust change management processes.
  • Pilot and administration TWS
  • Develop, Implement and document operational processes & procedures
  • Real-time batch control
  • Production deployment management through E-GEN or Cortex
  • Be able to identify issues related to scheduling activity, i.e. production batch issues.
  • Be available for on-call rotation after business hours to provide 24hr support for any production operational issues.
Required Skills
  • Batch scripting (JCL & REXX)
  • Cortex knowledge and experience (Cortex from Roquet Software) are mandatory
  • Troubleshoot system software and connectivity issues
  • Familiarity with above-mentioned tools and processes
  • Self-motivated, dynamic, proactive & customer-oriented attitude to be able to work on tight schedule
  • Excellent verbal / written communication and interpersonal skills are needed.
