The Department of the Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance of the University of Luxembourg is looking for a Postdoctoral researcher to conduct research in the business and management field.

The postdoctoral researcher will be working under the supervision of Professor Denise Fletcher.

Your Role
:

The Postdoctoral Researcher will be responsible for:

  • Publication of articles in scientific articles and contributions to conferences in the management field.
  • Assisting with curriculum design, teaching activities, (one to three hours a week), and contribute to tutoring students.

Qualifications
:

  • Proven ability to autonomously conduct research at a postdoctoral level
  • A strong interest in organization theory from the point of view of entrepreneurship, business ethics, innovation, business strategy, critical management, corporate social responsibility and/or sustainability.
  • An understanding of qualitative research methodologies that involve some of the following: discourse analysis, narrative, semiotics, conversation analysis, content and textbased analysis, ethnography, participant observation, grounded theory and case study work which, amongst other things, emphasis contextual sensitivity, ethical issues, holistic perspectives and understandings of organizational phenomena as in process
  • Good IT skills (including MAXQDA, or NVivo)
  • Proven ability to work individually as well as part of a team
  • Have the linguistic skills to evolve in a multilingual environment: fluency in either English or French, good understanding of the second language and possibly a third language, German in particular, will be considered an advantage
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
