BENU is looking for a head waiter/waitress for its future zero waste restaurant

ABOUT BENU:

BENU makes the first regional ecovillage - BENU VILLAGE - a reality. A project within the framework of the socio-ecological circular economy. All UpCycling. All local. All socially responsible. All ecologically excellent. All BENU.


Within the BENU pilot project, the BENU SLOOW restaurant marks a new stage in 100% organic vegetarian and vegan gastronomy, relying on the use of Rescued Food _(mainly class 1 foodstuffs delivered fresh by the farmer, but not taken back by the supermarkets)_ and wild herbs.


BENU SLOOW is an _UpCycling_ infrastructure; an inclusive zero waste organisation with an open kitchen that allows full transparency on how we cook and use our products.

Our main objective is to inspire our guests by offering them fresh, innovative and exceptionally tasty food

To us, a high quality room management is essential when offering an eco-responsible and delicious alternative - that's why we need you

Our capacity is 45 people. Our opening is planned for April 2023.

OUR EXPECTATIONS:


In order to familiarise our guests with BENU and the restaurant's themes, it is essential to maintain a good contact to our guests.

Each member of the BENU team is an ambassador and must be able to present in detail the concept, the products, the menu and the work.


ABOUT YOU:


Together with the team, you will ensure that our guests have a pleasant time by providing friendly and controlled room service.

You have a careful, open and respectful approach to others.

You are able to work in a team with a high level of commitment, rigour, initiative, diligence and reliability as well.

- has successful experience in a gastronomic restaurant,
- is able to communicate in Luxembourgish/German with the staff and the restaurant's customers; any other language is naturally considered an asset,
- is organised, empathetic, friendly and available,
- is a team player and able to manage the service, even when under stress,
- has the desire and motivation to work in a disruptive and innovative environment,
- has the open-mindedness to work in a multicultural and inclusive team,
- has the willingness to share our values and visions, while remaining a force of proposal.
