OF THE TASKS

The following tasks will be performed:

  • Integration of user-facing elements developed by a front-end developer with server-side logic
  • Implement core business logic
  • Creation of servers and databases for functionality
  • Design and implementation of data storage solutions
  • Understanding and implementation of security and data protection
  • Design and develop APIs
  • Participating in the design and creation of scalable software
  • Taking the lead on projects, as needed
  • Maintenance of code integrity and organisation
  • Writing clean, functional code on the back end
  • Compile and analyse data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement
  • Testing and fixing bugs or other coding issues
  • Meet both technical and consumer needs
  • Write technical documentation

LEVEL OF EDUCATION


The minimum educational qualification corresponds to Level 6 of the European Qualification Framework which typically corresponds to a
bachelor's degree of 3 years.


KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
The following knowledge is required for the performance of the above-listed tasks:


  • Angular, Java/Spring, Oracle PLSQL:
  • Proficiency with back-end languages and frameworks such as J
    ava, PHP, Spring boot, and Hibernate

  • Strong understanding of the web development cycle and programming techniques and tools
  • Familiarity with database technology such as
    Oracle, MongoDB:
  • Knowledge of code versioning tools such as
    Git or SVN
The following skills are required for the performance of the above-listed tasks:

  • Autonomous
  • Strong organizational and timemanagement skills
  • The capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment, rapid selfstarting capability, and experience in working in a team
  • Ability to participate in multilingual meetings
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment, on multiple large projects
  • Excellent Team Player
  • Ability to understand, speak and write English at level B
  • Ability to understand, speak and write French at level B1 is an advantage

SPECIFIC EXPERTISE
The following specific expertise is mandatory for the performance of tasks:

  • At least 8 years of specific expertise in
    Java development (min. competence level 5)
  • At least 3 years of specific expertise in
    Spring MVC (min. competence level 4)
  • At least 4 years of specific expertise in
    Hibernate framework (min. competence level 5)
  • At least 4 years of specific expertise in
    SQL (min. competence level 5)
  • At least 5 years of specific expertise in
    SOAP UI (min. competence level 5)
  • At least 6 years of specific expertise in
    REST API (min. competence level 4)
  • At least 2 years of specific expertise in
    JUnit (min. competence level 3)
  • At least 8 years of specific expertise in
    XML/XSD (min. competence level 5)
  • At least 4 years of specific expertise in
    Red Hat middleware (min. competence level 5)
  • At least 5 years of specific expertise in
    Oracle middleware (min. competence level 5)
  • At least 3 years of specific expertise in
    MySQL (min. competence level 5)
  • At least 3 years of specific expertise in
    XSL (min. competence level 5)
  • At least 3 years of specific expertise in
