Your Role...
The Research and Development specialist will be working under the supervision of Professor Mark D. Cole and colleagues working in these fields, especially Prof. Mahulena Hofmann and Associate Prof. Martin Stierle.

In particular, the Research and Development Specialist will

  • Conduct research on different topics within the areas of tech law as well as intersections between these and including interdisciplinary approaches;
  • Contribute to disseminating results through scientific publications, workshops and conferences (organize workshops, seminars and conferences; edit the publication of the research results) with the researchers of the tech law field;
  • Offer research assistance and coordinate young researchers working in the same field;
  • Gain expertise in specific questions concerning tech law either on request or at own initiative in order to offer advice and contribute to drafting reports or presenting results internally and externally;
  • Participate in the preparation of research proposals within the research fields specified above.

Qualifications...

  • Broad intellectual curiosity and selfmotivation;
  • Proven ability to work individually as well as part of a team;
  • Have the linguistic skills to evolve in a multilingual environment: fluency in either English or French, good understanding of the second language and possibly a third language, German in particular, will be considered an advantage;
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
