Job Title: Assistant Professor/Associate Professor - Department of Education and Social Work

The FHSE is a collaborative environment that combines expertise from various fields including humanities, linguistics, cognitive sciences, and social and educational sciences.
- The research and teaching at FHSE focus on social, economic, political, and educational issues to contribute to building an inclusive and resourceful society.
The position involves conducting research and teaching on health-related interventions, specifically focusing on critical perspectives on mental health and community services.
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in disciplines such as psychosocial studies, sociology, gender studies, and public health.
Key responsibilities include teaching courses on topics related to society, illness, well-being, and designing social interventions.
- Teaching mainly in Bachelor en Sciences Sociales et Éducatives (BSSE) and Master in Social Sciences and Education (MASSES).
- Contributing to ongoing transformation and innovation in Luxembourg's educational and psychosocial services.
Requirements:
- Ph.D. degree in sociology, social work, psychology, education, anthropology, or related fields.
- Minimum 3 years of postdoctoral experience.
- Strong international research profile with peer-reviewed publications and teaching experience.
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team.
- Proficiency in French and English.
