Your role:
You will be part of our ArcelorMittal International (AMI) sales support team. Your role will be to mainly ensure the AMI sourcing and trading sales operations, assisting head of department.
Meaning:
follow-up with suppliers and customers, coordinating production and logistics status with the different stakeholders up to ensure contract updates, orders and shipping documentation aspects, while respecting the rules and procedures defined.
Tasks and responsibilities:
Pre-sales:
- Receive and review all information's from the AMI sourcing, sales desks and offices
- Process and follow up of inquiry with the frontend AMI teams and partners
- Update/creation of AMI Master Data (customer, supplier, items, grades, etc )
- Review & create AMI Sourcing contract management tasks
- Review, create and deploy the AMI sales pricings
- Creation and amendments of orders into SAP systems (V21 + Leverage + NAI)
Production Status:
- Followup of production status + update the AMDS customers (via any relevant tools)
- In charge of relations with AMI customers and partners (internal as external Mills)
- Obtain partner's logistics details on shipments (vessel name + ETD / ETA )
- Issue any relevant documentations to insure production and contract respect (proforma,...)
Shipment & Deployment:
- Coordination with the AMI Partner's sales administration to get all shipping documents
- Review and ensure for all the shipping documents are ready and forwarded in due time
- Ensure the full invoicing process
- Mastering and executing the order entries when needed
- Ensuring any monitoring and deal aspects while closing a business (PCA's, hedgings, approvals, positions, cash management )
- Payment and hedging's followup with concerned stakeholders
- Claim settlement (registration and issue credit/debit notes to customers)
- Be part and in daily contact with AMI sourcing community, AMI customers, suppliers and AMI offices
Rules and Procedure:
- Ensure at all time that the AMI rules and procedures are followed, up to full deal closure
- Involved in systems and processes improvements
Applicant attributes:
- Supply chain and procurement and sales fundamentals understandings
- Knowledge of SAP and Office 36
- Comprehension and awareness of commercial and economic matters
- Customer focus oriented (internal and external)
- Strong team spirit and willingness to learn from complex matrix
- Flexibility and proactivity
- Organized and paying attention to details
- Keen to learn and grow within AM organization. Potential is big
