The
Luxembourg Centre for Contemporary and Digital History (C2DH) is a
research centre
for the study, analysis and public dissemination of contemporary history of Luxembourg and Europe with a particular focus on digital methods and tools for doing innovative historical research.
It serves as a catalyst for innovative
and creative** scholarship and new forms of public dissemination and societal engagement with history.
Your Role
:
The Centre for Contemporary and Digital History (University of Luxembourg) announces a three to five years Post-Doctoral position in 20th Century European History, starting January 15, 2024.
Tasks:
- Conducting a clear defined research project with a strong focus on comparative or transnational history
- Expanding the international network of the C2DH
- Teaching at BA or MA level (60 hours a year)
- Taking part to the EHI team activities (seminar, activities at Maison Schuman, etc.)
What we expect from you:
- PhD in Contemporary History
- Very good track record of publications in relevant peer reviewed journals
- Participation in collaborative and interdisciplinary research projects
- Experience in writing grant proposals
