Internship :
Strategy & Market Intelligence Research Analyst (M/F)

_ 6 months starting (ideally) __from September 2024_**- You must provide an internship agreement covering the entire period of the internship_

Your mission:


Working within the
Strategy & Market Intelligence team (Luxembourg), part of the Strategy & Corporate Development division in Paris, you will be mandated to support various assignments related to
competitor & market research projects upon demand.

As part of an international, cross-location team, you will be contributing to projects supporting the strategic business development of the organization.


Responsibilities within a daily framework:

Market & competitor research & analysis:

  • _Support_ _regular market reports construction_ through graphs, rankings and data compilation
- _Assist with_ _internal _benchmarking studies_ to support decision-making process regarding BNPP positioning and related market & product development actions
- _Perform data collection on contenders' product initiatives & mandates_ via the public domain
(news, subscribed magazines, third-party studies, surveys etc.)
- _Perform research through data queries & analysis_ of players (competitors, clients) through
the leverage of specialist industry databases
- _Assume ad-hoc (web-based) research tasks_ on market trends / dynamics, clients and contenders'
market moves and positioning
- _Preparing presentations & findings_ of research project milestones and draft outputs

Enrichment & continuous development of the market research library, databases and queries therein:

  • _Retrieval & update of database streams_ pertaining to the abovementioned client segments in order
to define a bespoke client universe (pivot table, xls extracts etc.)
- _Coherent & regular storage/assignment and update of key news, magazines & data_ across client segments in the Strategy & Market Intelligence library

Organisational team support:

  • Setup & preparation of support material for workshops, crosslocation calls or (team) meetings
  • Drafting of meeting minutes & followups (where required)
  • Any other (punctual) support to the preparation of meetings and internal clientrelated requests

Profile requested:

Education:

  • University degree in Finance, Economics or Business admin. orientation (ideally Bac+5).

Behavioural Skills:

  • Resultdriven, proactive, focused attitude and approach
  • High level of autonomy & proactivity, alongside team player ability

Tranversal Skills:

  • Appetite for research; Strong analytical and synthesis skills.

Language Skills:

  • Good communication and writing skills (FR and EN: good command in written & spoken)

Technical Skills:

  • At ease with Microsoft Office incl. Excel, PPT & Word
