Wealth Management Support Officer - Temporary 12 months (M/F):

Description:


The general role of Wealth Management Support team is to help to ensure that the operations in place are as effective and efficient as possible.

This can involve reviewing the processes in place and assessing to determine possible ways of their improvement.

Mission:


Ensure that WM business operates in a way that meets the needs of their customers effectively and in line with the governance of the Bank.

They form the link between the relationship managers (RMs), the governing bodies and other units.

Challenges:

A support officer will carry out administrative and accounting duties by organizing and coordinating banking services.

Main responsibilities:

I.

Main Duties

  • Provide support to the branch staff, being a point of contact for escalation of operational issues.
  • Support the Head of WMS to develop action plans to make the business more effective and efficient.
  • Overview that the RMs deliver effective financial services to their clients, in line with the Bank's procedures.
  • Provide mentorship to the RMs by observing their daily activities and assisting them in solving complicated issues that arise from errors in operations.
  • Help the Head of WMS to set up the workflow process for banking operations (taking necessary measures to provide the needed support for smooth operations).
  • Carry out assessment of the activities by evaluating transaction reports for accuracy and clarity.
  • Help the Head of WMS to ensure that the goals and objectives of the Bank set by the Head of Wealth Management are maintained by the RM's.
  • Check that policies and procedures of the Bank are followed correctly to avoid risks and that the credibility of the Bank is upheld by enforcing professional standard of conduct of staff members.
  • Give useful suggestions to the Line Management on how to improve the Bank's operations.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Monitor daily operations to ensure a free flow process and supervise the execution of daily tasks as per internal directives.
  • Help to develop and enforce sound policies and procedures for the growth of the Bank (in collaboration with the Line Management and other units).
  • Oversee the ongoing banking activities to ensure their due process, accuracy and accountability.
  • Contribute to the organization of transparent reporting to the Management Committee.

Education:

  • Education: Master Degree
  • Certification: Wealth Management, Economics
  • IT Tools: Proficiency in General IT tools.

Experience:

  • Years of experience: 03 : beginner
  • Experience required: A first experience in WM Assistance and support as an internship or a fixed term contract is an important asset.
  • Experience in private banking: Preferred

Language:

  • English: Fluent
  • French: Fluent
  • Other: Advanced (Portuguese, Italian.)
