Transfer Agency Retrocessions/trailer Fees

CIB Transfer Agency Luxembourg is currently looking to recruit a Transfer Agency Operations Trailer Fees expert who will be responsible for the flawless delivery of trailer fee services to our international client base which includes the calculations, accruals, payments and reporting to the clients/distributors.

Job responsibilities

  • Produce monthly & quarterly trailer fee reporting for clients
  • Review and setup the trailer fee terms in the system/database
  • Payments and reinvestments of the trailer fee amounts to the distributors
  • Monitoring of transaction processing work queues and resolution of complex or exceptional handling requirements
  • Working in partnership with key stakeholders within the Transfer Agency and our clients in order to keep abreast of changes to client servicing requirements and/or regulatory or policy driven changes
  • Become an active member of the team by improving controls & efficiency of daily processes
  • Implementation of appropriate operational policies and procedures and ensuring same are kept up to date within the team

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Transfer Agency experience with a strong expertise in the fund distribution remuneration area and its regulatory environment.
  • Be able to work independently and proactively as well as being a team player
  • Have the ability to work and make decisions under pressure and capable of thriving on new challenges
  • Possess excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Be detail and control orientated with strong problem solving abilities
  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, building strong partnership with internal stakeholders and clients
  • Be client focused ensuring all Client Service Level Agreements are adhered to and a strong appreciation of risk and control aspects

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Prior experience of 5+ years of trailer fee calculations, payments and reporting
  • Ability to create a vision and actionable roadmap with a focus on ongoing innovation
  • Ability to effectively maximize delivery of business goals and returns on investment
  • Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines & high awareness of operational risk and complexity of the Transfer Agency environment
