The
Financial Reporting & Tax Officer will participate proactively in the operativity of the Finance area with reference to the financial reporting activities (both for the Branch and the LuxCo), fiscal reporting for the Group and the local authorities (both for the Branch and the LuxCo) and the implementation of the International Financial Reporting Standards.


Main Missions (non exhaustive list)

  • Support the Head of Department in the oversighting and analysis of the new IFRS 17 Balance Sheet and Profit&Loss statements;
  • Assist in the delivery of the outputs needed for meeting the fiscal deadlines for both the Luxembourg Branch and the LuxCo.
An extensive but non exhaustive list of such deliverable is:
Annual Corporate Income Tax Declaration, Monthly and Annual VAT declaration, Country-by-Country Reporting, CFC, Transfer Pricing documentation, CRS, FATCA;

  • Assist in the delivery of the CAA reporting for both the Luxembourg Branch and the LuxCo, and assist as well in the delivery of other official Luxembourgish reporting requirements (Banque Central de Luxembourg, STATEC etc);
  • Support the management of the Non-Financial information flow with HO (fill the controls template, upload it in the Prima system tool) for both the Luxembourg Branch and the LuxCo;
  • Work together with the Head of Dept. and the team specialist on the Investment oversighting;
  • Support the team specialist within the quarterly local GAAP closings

Your Profile

  • 3+ years of experience insurance/reinsurance industry within Finance/technical department. Equivalent experience in the consultancy and finance sector is also considered;
  • Knowledge of IFRS (with special reference to the insurance industry, such as IFRS 17) and Italian GAAP
  • Knowledge/previous exposure to SAP FPSL / SAP 4Hana is a plus
  • Very good command on Excel
  • Quick learner, proactive and enthusiast
  • Willingness to work in a truly dynamic and international environment
  • Strong team player able to cope with tight deadline
  • Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of Italian and / or French would be highly considered.
